My name is Keyana (Key) Michel, and I’m a fashion blogger, a writer, a dancer, a humanitarian, and the creator of Key To Fashion! Before Key To Fashion, my experiences in the resale fashion field include being an active thrifter of course ☺️, a resale fashion buyer, and a researcher and student of the field. In 2017, I went to a nationwide conference called The Narts Conference, where I got the opportunity to learn from inspirational resale fashion gurus, business owners and entrepreneurs.
I have thrifted all over. I make it a travel entity lol. Wherever I travel to, I try my best to find a thrift store! Loll . Some of my favorite places I’ve thrifted thus far have been California, Minnesota, Toronto, and London!
In addition, I’m also the founder of Blacks Who Thrift on Instagram, a community platform for Black thrifters and resellers.
Key To Fashion is a very diverse community, but as a Black woman in fashion, I think it’s very important for me to also create spaces, for people that look like me.
Below is a podcast episode, where you will find out more about why I started Key To Fashion in the first place!
I think it’s so important for me to share my story with you, and my mission is that it inspires you to embrace what makes you unique!
